The Complete Garden Sunclock Kit

Add interest, fun and value to your garden

The easiest way to install a sunclock in your garden. The kit comes complete with all the number tiles, comprehensive layout instructions and a maintenance kit.

Two kits are available:

A full sunclock for use through-out the year, showing both Greenwich Mean Time and British Summer Time, the twin arc layout. Kit 01

A Summer only single arc kit for use just during the summer months of British Summer Time, Kit 02

Available in a bronze or brass finish, the tiles are treated with renaissance micro-crystalline wax, formulated by the British Musuem and used to protect public sculptures across the world.

Installing the sunclock is very straight forward once the positions have been marked using the layout plan, a small patch of turf jus 15cm by 15cm is cut out to a depth, (approx 7mm) that will enable the number plate to be installed allowing for the lawn-mower to glide over it.

The plates are cold cast resin and are frost and waterproof. The bronze will aquire a beautiful patina over time complementing any garden design. The month plates are installed on the central timeline and during the year you move up and down the scale.

Is a SunClock going to fit in my garden?

Some questions and answers

To be able to enjoy a SunClock you will need a garden that meets some basic requirements.

How much space will I need?

You will need approximately an area of 6 metres (20 feet) in diameter. A single British Summer Time kit will take a slightly smaller area

Should the area be level?

Yes!, in an ideal world the SunClock should be installed on, as level an area as possible.

Most Importantly!!

The area must have the sun shinning on it without shadows from trees or buildings. It must have uninterrupted  sunshine for the whole day if you wish to use the clock throughout the daylight hours.
